pastel

A calm link-in-bio maker: every link in its own pastel colour, a live preview as you edit, and photo or video banners.

01 — The product

What it does

Pastel gives you one soft page for all your links.

Sign up, pick a name, and your page lives at pastel.embarko.app/yourname.

- Every link gets its own pastel colour, from six soft shades - Edit on the left and watch the live preview update on the right, before you save - A photo or looping video banner, with sound if your video has it - A floating dock for your social icons, and light and dark mode - Private visitor counts: see visits and which links get tapped, with no IP addresses stored - Switches you control: hide your page, keep it out of search, show your visitor count

For makers, creators and students who want a link page that looks considered, with no design work.

02 — The reason

Why it was built

It began as one prompt: a link-in-bio page with pastel colours and soft animations.

With Claude Code it grew from a static page into a full Next.js product with accounts, a dashboard and a live preview. I put it on Embarko by creating a deploy key, copying one prompt and pasting it into my AI. It was live about 3 minutes later, with HTTPS and a database that survives redeploys. No Dockerfile, no server setup.
