Samanvay
Different languages. One incident. The urgent report never disappears in the crowd.
What it does
Samanvay is a station-controller dashboard for metro complaints. It turns Gujarati, Hindi, English and Gujlish complaints into department queues using a local AI model (gemma4:e2b via Ollama), groups reports about the same asset into one incident, and raises priority when a new report shows danger, with the exact evidence quote. Deterministic rules decide priority and grouping, so a later 'it's fixed' message can never silently downgrade an urgent incident. Acknowledgements are drafted in the passenger's language, and every record syncs offline-first to a central receiver without duplicates.
Why it was built
Built on a moving metro at Metro Hacks (GDG Gandhinagar) for problem statement PS-07.
Passengers complain in whatever language they think in, and an urgent report like 'someone is trapped in the lift' can get lost among routine ones. Samanvay keeps every original report, links them to one incident, and makes sure the urgent one rises to the top while a human controller stays in charge.
