Participants deploy their projects on Embarko and submit them to Showcase. Your event gets one permanent page where judges, participants, companies and the community browse what was built.

How does it work?

1. Apply. Send us the event name, college or organisation, event dates, expected number of participants, and event website or social link.

2. We create your event. You get a hackathon code, such as IITINDORE26, and a Showcase page, such as embarko.ai/showcase/iit-indore-2026.

3. Share the code with participants. They use it to activate 2 months of Embarko Pro, free.

4. Participants build and deploy. They build with the AI agent they already use, then ask it:

   Deploy this to Embarko
   

   The project gets a live URL. No signup and no credential needed first. The code only activates Pro; it is not needed to deploy.

5. Projects join your Showcase. Send participants your event page's invite link from the Embarko console. They pick their live app and say what it does, and it appears on your event page. Or they paste the page's Showcase prompt into their AI agent, which does the same.

Judges and your community get one place to browse everything built at the event.

Good to know

• An app deployed with no credential lasts 24 hours. Participants claim it with a token once it's worth keeping, and before submitting to Showcase.
• What happens on a deploy: see the agent quickstart.
• If a build fails: see troubleshoot.md.
• Your page can carry your own content. HTML added when the page is created shows above the apps. It can't be changed afterwards. Headings, text, lists, links, images and styles work. Scripts don't run, so forms and embedded players won't either. Up to 50,000 characters.

How do participants keep Pro free for 1 year?

By showing what they built.

1. Post a short Instagram Reel or YouTube video showing:
   • what you built
   • who it helps
   • a quick demo
   • how you put it online with Embarko
2. Tag Embarko.
3. Submit the video link.

If approved: 1 year of Embarko Pro, free. Good projects may also be featured in Embarko Showcase and shared with the Embarko community.

What happens after the event?

Your Showcase page stays online. Use it to:

• show winning projects
• share shortlisted projects
• let judges browse live submissions
• showcase your participants
• share the event with companies and communities
• keep projects discoverable after the hackathon
